Access Bank Scholarships for the Business of Film Programme

About

Access Bank in partnership with the Nollywood Studies Centre is offering eight scholarships to the Business of Film programme for young filmmakers. The Business of Film is a six-day training programme designed for filmmakers that focuses on the business aspect of being a successful film producer. The independent filmmaker, as the manager of a film project, needs to understand the intricacies of such realises as raising funds, project management, human resource management, organising film schedules, and structuring budgets. The Business of Film course is aimed at equipping filmmakers with some of these skills.

These scholarships being offered by Access Bank are in recognition of the challenges that young Nigerian filmmakers face in obtaining the requisite training.

The scholarship will cover the cost of the programme as well as lodging for the period. Applications for the scholarships will be treated on a first come, first serve basis.
