Dr. Margaret Offoboche Agada-Mba
Senior Lecturer (PhD)
Dr. Margaret Offoboche Agada-Mba is a Senior Lecturer in Communication, Media and Cultural Studies at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication with a focus on Development Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; an MSc in Mass Communication (Broadcasting) from the University of Lagos; and a BSc in Mass Communication from the Cross River University of Technology (now UNICROSS).
With over three years of experience at SMC, Dr. Agada-Mba facilitates professional education classes, mentors students, and serves on various academic committees. She is particularly passionate about embedding experiential learning into curriculum design and assessment, reflecting SMC’s commitment to practical, student-centred education. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in pragmatism and a belief in continually innovating approaches to problem-solving.
Beyond the classroom, she enjoys reading, adventure, cooking, and sports. A fun fact she shares is that she sings better when in a closet.
