Introduction

With the growing need for financial modeling to support management decisions globally, every organization must strive to keep its staff abreast with the latest financial modeling skills and policy analytical tools that will aid evidence-based decisions.

Since today’s business world is characterized by random upheavals in commerce and trade and economic uncertainties, a vital skill set is financial modeling. This skill is widely required by economists, bankers, policy experts, accountants, and financial analysts. It involves building investment analysis models and financial statements using Microsoft Excel.

Financial modeling will assist your staff in contributing meaningfully to organizational goals by helping them to develop the skills for making proper financial projections. It will also help them understand the concept of financial planning and financial forecasting. Again, the course will broaden their competence in effectively conducting bond and stock valuation and managing risk and uncertainties effectively for the firm. In all, the financial modeling course will help all the participants in using financial models to improve financial decision-making.
