On May 18, 2018, the governing council of the SMCAA had their first meeting for the year. The main item on the agenda was a call for the review of the constitution. This call was made in a proposal submitted by MScFT8 class. The governing council ratified this call and constituted a committee to conduct the review. Barr. Tomi Vincent was appointed head of the committee. Other members include Mr. Nnanna Adim, Mr. Christopher Mbanewe, Mr. Lakinbofa Goodluck, Mrs. Nume Ekeghe and Mr. Anthony Okoeguale (Secretary). The committee has been given a timeline of 72 days to produce a legacy document. In a bid to ensure that all alumni participate in this historic event, the constitution review committee has announced that alumni who wish to make recommendations regarding contents in the constitution can do so through their class presidents.
