On June 1, 2020, the Internship and Alumni Relations Office (IARO) commenced an SMCAA outreach that spanned three months. This activity was geared towards consolidating the association in the new decade. The outreach commenced with an online survey that provided the background for further engagements.
Majority of the interactions involved virtual meetings, which addressed the role of the IARO, individual class-sets and the school in strengthening the association. This initiative was well- received by alumni, and they were excited to enrich the engagements with significant contributions.
Additionally, the outreach served as a means to update the IARO on the welfare of alumni in this period of the pandemic.
