On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, Mr. David Ajikobi was invited to speak on strategies for making a career out of fact-checking at a career forum organised for full-time master’s students. David Ajikobi, who obtained his master’s degree in media and communication from SMC in 2015, had a lot to share with members of his alma mater. While studying as a full-time student, David was also a News Editor, Producer and Script Writer at 96.9 Cool FM, 95.1 Wazobia FM and 99.3 Nigeria Info. The M.Sc. programme in media and communication helped David advance hiscareer as a News Editor. Today, David works as the Nigeria Editor for Africa Check C.I.C. Africa Check C.I.C is an arm of the international news agency, Agence France-Presse (AFP).
